About the role

• Your focus will be setting up tools and required infrastructure for development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation as well as implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• You will have the opportunity to build cross-platform and cross-cloud infrastructure
• Our Bank is devoted to Open Source, Cloud and Cloud native technologies, we want you to help us in that journey to the Cloud
• We are in the middle of building are new Kubernetes PaaS on AWS, new way of doing things like the GitOps way, decommissioning old legacy systems and migration our load to the Cloud
• We were the first bank that built and used in full production OKD as an Open-Source container application platform

What You’ll Be Doing

• You will work in one and collaborate with many agile and adaptive teams. You will brainstorm ideas, troubleshoot problems, improve our platform, and drive adoption of new and emerging software delivery practices, architectures and tools
• Our technology stack includes (basically everything you need to DevOps): Openshift/Kubernetes, Ansible/Terraform, Jenkins/ArgoCD, Gitlab/Github, Prometheus/Grafana, Kafka, ELK stack/Opensearch, AWS and its managed services, Artifactory…

What You’ll Need

• You have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• You have version control system experience
• You have experience deploying microservice architecture, applications, and supporting services.
• Extensive experience in CI/CD automation process
• Supports continuous improvement, keeps pace with technologies and alternative solutions
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
• You are competent in at least one scripting or configuration language like Python, Go or HCL and YAML…

Nice to have

• You know your way around Java applications and application servers
• You are also familiar with relational databases like Postgresql
• You know something about Kafka or other event streaming platforms
