About the role

• Lead the end-to-end management of the enterprise data warehouse, including architecture, infrastructure, and performance
• Build and manage a high-performing team and continuous improvement
• Ensure the warehouse supports critical business functions across Finance, Risk, Compliance, AML
• Implement data governance, lineage, and quality controls in line with regulatory frameworks

What You’ll Be Doing

• Define and implement data architecture, modelling, and warehousing best practices
• Build and manage a team of data engineers and architects
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Risk, Finance, Compliance, and IT to align data strategy with business needs
• Oversee data integration from core banking systems, payment platforms, CRM, and external sources
• Drive automation, monitoring, and optimization of data pipelines and processes
• Stay current with emerging data technologies, trends, and regulatory developments

What You’ll Need

• Experience in data warehousing or data engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within financial services or banking
• Experience managing large-scale data infrastructure supporting finance, risk, and regulatory reporting
• Excellent understanding of data governance frameworks, data security, and financial compliance requirements
• Ability to communicate technical strategy to non-technical stakeholders
• To be self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies in the field
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
• University degree (300 ECTS) with 3 years of relevant work experience

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks
• Experience in Big Data technologies - Apache Airflow, NiFi, Kafka, Hadoop, Spark
• Working knowledge of Cloud-based solutions (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
