About the role

As an IT Strategy & Governance Expert focused on Subsidiary governance, you will help establish and manage the IT governance relationship between RBA and its subsidiaries.

You will act as the central coordination point connecting subsidiary management and experts with the relevant IT domains within the Bank. Your role will be to create transparency, clarify responsibilities, establish a consistent governance model and ensure that agreed obligations are systematically monitored and addressed.

You will define and coordinate SLA and KPI frameworks, organize governance meetings, track actions and commitments, analyze deviations and facilitate timely escalation and corrective action.

You will also contribute to the development and execution of RBA’s IT strategy, work closely with IT and business management, and cooperate with colleagues across the wider RBI Group.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Establish and continuously improve the IT governance model for RBA subsidiaries, according to RBI group standards 
  • Coordinate the relationship between subsidiaries, IT management and relevant IT expert domains 
  • Define, maintain and monitor SLA and KPI frameworks between the Bank and its subsidiaries 
  • Organize and facilitate regular governance meetings, including agenda preparation, reporting, decision records and action tracking 
  • Monitor agreed commitments, deadlines and corrective measures, and escalate material deviations 
  • Consolidate operational and management information into clear governance reports and recommendations 
  • Support subsidiaries in aligning with relevant RBA and RBI IT standards, policies and practices 
  • Coordinate gap analyses and agreed improvement roadmaps across subsidiaries 
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of the Bank’s IT strategy 
  • Prepare materials and presentations for senior management and RBI Group stakeholders 
  • Work closely with IT Strategy, IT Governance, IT Security, Risk, Controlling and other relevant functions 
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and automate governance reporting and recurring administrative activities

What You’ll Need

  • At least five years of relevant experience in IT strategy, IT governance, technology consulting, service management or a comparable role 
  • Experience coordinating complex initiatives involving multiple organizational units and senior stakeholders 
  • Good understanding of IT organizations, IT services, governance processes and key technology concepts 
  • Experience working with KPIs, SLAs, management reporting, action tracking or performance monitoring 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex topics into clear decisions and actionable plans 
  • Excellent stakeholder-management, communication, facilitation and presentation skills 
  • Ability to influence and coordinate without direct hierarchical authority 
  • Proactive, organized and result-oriented approach 
  • Fluency in English 
  • University degree in information technology, engineering, business or another relevant field, or equivalent relevant professional experience

Nice to have

  • Experience in banking, financial services or another regulated industry 
  • Previous experience in internal or external consulting 
  • Experience working with subsidiaries, group companies or international organizations 
  • Familiarity with ITIL, IT service management, Agile or traditional project-delivery methodologies 
  • Experience preparing materials for executive management or governance bodies 
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to IT and financial institutions (i.e. DORA)
  • Experience with process improvement, reporting automation or dashboard development
