About the role

As a Scrum Master at RBA, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an Agile environment that promotes continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance. You will be the servant leader for one or more Scrum teams, ensuring that the Scrum framework is well understood and enacted. Your primary focus will be to enable your team to deliver high-quality products that delight our customers and meet business objectives.

You will work closely with Product Owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the team is aligned with the product vision and goals. Your responsibilities will include facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and coaching team members on Agile best practices. By promoting a culture of feedback and open communication, you will help your team to self-organize and achieve their full potential.

In this role, you will also be an advocate for Agile principles across the organization, contributing to the broader Agile transformation efforts at RBA. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, from our highly rated mobile banking app to innovative digital onboarding solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Establish, implement, and expand Agile practices across the organization
  • Lead and coach the Scrum team to develop and train all Scrum roles
  • Coordinate sprints and facilitate effective Scrum events and other necessary workshops
  • Monitor KPIs and other metrics to measure team and process efficiency
  • Teach and support the Product Owner regarding backlogs and other team-related topics
  • Build trust and a culture of feedback within your Agile teams and the entire organization
  • Manage and direct the energy of your Agile team

What You’ll Need

  • Experience working in Agile teams and/or projects
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks and/or methods (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Understanding of product and software development processes
  • Familiarity with Jira/Confluence/Miro and other collaborative tools
  • Knowledge of coaching, mentoring, and facilitation principles
  • Possession of Scrum Alliance/Scrum.Org certification
